Born September 17, 1991  is a Canadian actor. In July 2017, he was cast to play Aladdin in Disney's live-action remake of Aladdin 


He has also worked in television; his roles include Jared Malik in the 2015 series Open Heart and Tarek Kassar in the Amazon series Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan  


 


Massoud was born in Cairo, Egypt to Egyptian Coptic Christian parents. When he was young he immigrated to Canada.He grew up in Markham, Ontario,[where he attended St. Brother André Catholic High School. He attended Ryerson University in Toronto where he studied theater and acting after transferring from the University of Toronto

For her performance, she has received four nominations for Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, as well as a Young Artist Award nomination for Best Supporting Young Actress in a TV Series 


 


Turner has also starred in the television film The Thirteenth Tale (2013) and she made her feature film debut in Another Me  2013 . She has also starred in the action comedy Barely Lethal  2015  and played Jean Grey in X-Men: Apocalypse  2016
